Inbound Erie Basin - Brooklyn, NY.

Built in 1970, by Main Iron Works of Houma, Louisiana (hull #239). She measures at 91(ft) long, with a draft of 12(ft) and a beam of 26(ft). Rated at 4,000 horsepower, she was originally named the Dad III. She was owned by Steuart Transportation Company. After being acquired by Reinauer Transportation she was renamed the JoAnne Reinauer III.

In 2008, she underwent an extensive refit at Feeney's Enterprise of Kingston, New York. This included the installation of a JAK-400 coupler system, her bow was modified to accommodate the coupler system. Her wheelhouses were removed and replaced with a single aluminum tower much like the Dace Reinauer for increased visibility over her barge. The engineering for the project was performed by JMS Naval Architects. Her main decks were enclosed to the 02 deck level and her sides were extended outward in order to add weight for stability. Her towing machine was also removed, the JoAnne was by far the most noticeable of all Reinauer's ATB conversions. She was married to the third in the 80,000 bbl series of barges built SENESCO Marine of North Kingston, Rhode Island the RTC 82.
